About us, our story and how it all started!

In 1974 – 50 years ago,  Niko Hazdovac,  after a career as a merchant marine officer, started Adriatic Travel in hopes of fulfilling his dream of owning his own travel agency. He wanted Croatians to have a reliable way to visit their homeland, but especially to share the beauty and culture of Croatia for everyone else to see. With his wife, Luci, taking a major role in the agency, together they built, what is now a family run, world renowned travel company.

Through the years, Adriatic Travel has faced many obstacles; such as war in Croatia,  9/11, the role of the internet, and the ever-changing travel industry. We believe our dedication to our customers has seen us through these difficult times.

Today, the Adriatic Travel & Tours family prides itself in continuing a tradition of incomparable personal service, reliability, and value to each and every customer.
