Dr. Kate Cummins is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California. She has experience in diverse settings with vast populations thus far in her career including neuropsychology with brain injury patients and sport psychology with pro athletes and coaches. She previously worked at Stanford University with veterans and post traumatic stress disorder. Currently, her clinical focus is on her private practice with high performing individuals in many different domains including: sport psychology, tech companies, medical professionals, Hollywood and music industry folks.
Dr. Kate is best known for her ability to approach the field of psychology from a functional perspective that creates an understanding of the psychology of daily life into every day practice of the human experience. She has helped utilize knowledge to destigmatize mental health while appearing in global publications and creating meaning in the field of psychology with everything she writes about. Dr. Kate is a 200 hour certified yoga teacher and currently undergoing a 300 hour yoga teacher training through Stanford University’s psychiatry program to further her development in yoga practice as well as create continued connection between the partnership of physical and mental health.
